Version 1.7.16 - 5 July 2011
- microsoft-security-essentials - revision 7 - 1.0 or 2.0 → 2.1 - just a change of the installer name to use the new filename, and a revision bump causes the upgrade to be run, we still don;t know how to programatically judge which version is installed but it's not necessary to to deploy the upgrade.

- tweak-unattended-remove-per-machine-shortcuts - revision 10 - no change, just a revision bump to cause it to run again
Version 1.7.11 - 16 May 2011
- flash-player - revision 19 - 10.2.159.1 → 10.3.181.14

- flash-player - revision 18 - 10.2.153.1 → 10.2.159.1
- sun-jre - revision 16 - 6.0u24 → 6.0u25
- Upgrade to JRE 6.0u25
- 'check' line now uses '%PROGRAMFILES%\Java\jre6\bin\javacpl.exe' rather than 'Java(TM) 6 Update 25'
- Uninstall the problematic install of 6.0u24 - the previous upgrade in RCS 3.6.9 to JRE 6.0u24 caused an issue where by the Java Runtime Environment became inoperable, the only fix being to uninstall it
- Additionally remove the autoupdater (Since approximately 6.0u18, Sun has included Java Auto Updater as a separate package that is automatically installed with the JRE. You can disable automatic updates by uninstalling the Java Auto Updater after the JRE is installed or upgraded.
- The installer no longer requires the switches 'IEXPLORER=1 MOZILLA=1 ADDLOCAL=ALL REBOOT=Suppress'
- Removed the 'upgrade' lines that uninstall 6.0u18 and later as the default patch-in-place mechanism (from JRE 6 Update 10 onwards) makes them unnecessary.

- Revision 22 - 3.5.3 → 3.6.7
- Revision 23 - 3.6.7 → 3.6.8

- Revision 10 - 10.0.32.18 → 10.1.53.64; Silent install '/S' changed to '/install'
- Revision 11 - changed 'remove' command from Flash Player 10's 'uninstall_plugin.exe /silent' to 10.1's 'FlashUtil10h_Plugin.exe /uninstall'
- Revision 12
- 10.1.53.64 → 10.1.82.76
- 'remove' line changed 'FlashUtil10h_Plugin.exe' to 'FlashUtil10i_Plugin.exe'
- foxit-reader
- Revision 9 - added 1605 exclusion to 'remove' command
- Revision 10 - added uninstall of some previous versions to 'install' and 'upgrade' lines
- Revision 12 - added 'DESKTOP_SHORTCUT=0 VIEWINBROWSER=0' to installer, VIEWINBROWSER=0 causes Firefox to open Foxit Reader separate to the browser, not embedded, (first asking you if you want to do this, allowing you to choose 'Do this automatically for files like this from now on'). This fixes the issue we're seeing where the integration is broken with an error message "FoxitReaderOCX.ocx failed to load". This requires an uninstall & reinstall before it takes effect so we've added an uninstall of the current version to the 'upgrade'. Also added an 'install' and 'upgrade' line to '"%PROGRAMFILES%\Foxit Software\Foxit Reader\Foxit Reader.exe" -register' which will fix the issue we're seeing of it not being registered.
- gimp
- revision 16 - 'remove' line to use '%PROGRAMFILES%\gimp\setup\unins000.exe' rather than '%PROGRAMFILES%\gimp\setup\unins001.exe'
- revision 17 - 2.6.3 → 2.6.10
- gimp-help - revision 7 - added 'remove' line; 'check' changed from '%PROGRAMFILES%\GIMP\share\gimp\2.0\help\images\callouts\1.png' to '%PROGRAMFILES%\GIMP\share\gimp\2.0\help\en\index.html'
- go-oo-lang-pack - new package
- lightning - revision 10 - 0.9 → 1.0beta1-pre → 1.0beta2
- mail-redirect - revision 6 - 0.7.4-RCS-2 → 0.7.4-RCS-3
- microsoft-security-essentials - new package
- Revision 2 - initial package
- Revision 3 - removed line mistakenly pasted into the middle; added 'chain' to tweak-unattended-mse-whitelist-ultravnc
- Revision 4 - Install the whitelisting direct from this package, rather than using a separate package, because 'chain' doesn't automatically run what it chains to if the check succeeds; and a 'check' line using 'registry' can't use '\', requiring instead 'execute' to run a separate batch file to run 'reg query' which is getting overly complicated.
- Revision 5 - on 'install' and 'upgrade' uninstall F-Prot Antivirus Updater Fix as the old F-Prot uninstaller, which we're replacing with MSE, didn't remove this component of F-Prot.
- Revision 6 - Cope with if MSE is already installed it gives an error code '-2147156213'
- notepad++ - revision 15 - Added '/Y' when moving the update directory to allow it to work when the update directory has already been disabled / moved
- odf-converter-integrator - removed
- sun-jre - revision 11
- 1.6 update 11 → 1.6 update 21
- Added stop of JavaQuickStarterService upon 'upgrade' and 'install'
- Added uninstall of all older versions of 1.6 series upon 'upgrade' and 'install'
- scribus - revision 8 - 1.3.5.1 → 1.3.6
- thunderbird - revision 22 - 2.0.0.23 → 3.1.1
- thunderbird-spellcheck-dictionary-en-gb - revision 5 - added 'remove' line
- tweak-unattended-flash-player-config - revision 3 - rather than doing a 'check' for the TWEAK log file, check for the actual config file; added remove lines for TWEAK log and actual config file; added ability for 'remove' line to not throw an error if file not there
- tweak-unattended-zotero-system-config
- Revision 6 - added 'remove' line for TWEAK log file
- Revision 7 - changed 'check' line from '"%SYSTEMDRIVE%\tweak-log\zotero-system-config.log"' to '%PROGRAMFILES%\Mozilla Firefox\extensions\zotero@chnm.gmu.edu\defaults\preferences\zotero-custom-data-directory-h.js' otherwise 'zotero' 'chain' won't run it as it'll think it's already in when it isn't
- Revision 9 - changed priority to 2 so it's lower than 'zotero'
- wmp-firefox-plugin - revision2 - changed 'remove' line from calling original .msi on server, which wasn't working, to using add/remove programs uninstall string
- wpkg-client - new package, upgrades the version 1.2.1 we previously installed manually
- zotero
- Revision 6 - rather than tweak-unattended-zotero-system-config depending on zotero, zotero instead chains tweak-unattended-zotero-system-config, so that the latter is run when the former is installed/upgraded, otherwise we lose the Zotero config on an upgrade because the Zotero upgrade replaces the whole Zotero program directory
- Revision 7 - re-add the 'chain' because it got lost somewhere
- Revision 8 - removed chain on tweak-unattended-zotero-system-config because otherwise it ran tweak-unattended-zotero-system-config before rather than after
- zotero-openoffice-plugin - revision 6 - added a second 'depends' on sun-jre

- ultravnc - revision 4 - when loading ultravnc-installer-settings.inf silent install options the directory was wrong and so it never pulled in installer config and program config. To fix an existing installation you can remove its registry settings (otherwise a reinstall doesn't pull in the config), uninstall the programs and restart. (additionally ultravnc-installer-settings.inf - 'PropertiesFiles' used 'ultravnc-settings.reg' when should have used 'ultravnc-program-settings.reg')
Version 1.4.2 - RCS 3.3
- 12/9/8 - lightning - revision 5 - 'upgrade' was broken because of bad check on missing file; 'install' was broken, we don't know why; 'remove' was (intentionally) missing because we didn't know how to do it reliably. We've now fixed 'install'; improved 'install' and 'upgrade' by not leaving in files from previous version that may have been removed in a new version; added a 'remove'; 'upgrade' was broken in that it was preventing lightning from appearing in Thunderbird, we don't know why, but it's now fixed; and an additional enhancement in copying the whole Lightning directory rather than *.* is that it uses less COMMAND.COM environment memory(?). Requires lightning's .xpi file be extracted to {e2fda1a4-762b-4020-b5ad-a41df1933103} directory.
Version 1.4.1
- 4/9/8 - filezilla - revision 9 - 3.1.1 → 3.1.2 (adds support for turning off update notifications per-machine; correspondingly supported in TWEAK 0.9.1)
Version 1.4

- 28/8/8 - gimp - revision 9 - 2.4.6 → 2.4.7
- 13/8/8 - lightning - mistakenly had 0.7 not 0.8 in installer filename
- 12/8/8 - ultravnc - revision 3 - bumped revision to force an install. The revision may not have been updated previously by mistake.
- 12/8/8 - f-prot - Removed F-Prot's 'upgrade' because of known issue where by F-Prot upgrade fails, but it doesn't matter because it upgrades itself, it does actually matter because WPKG will try to reinstall F-Prot on each startup.
- 12/8/8 - adobe-reader - revision 7 - 'upgrade' didn't include additional install of AcrobatReaderUpd812_SU1_all.msi, 'install' was OK
- 12/8/8 - kompozer - Replaced non-functioning 'cmd /c "%SOFTWARE%\kompozer\kompozer.bat"' with 'cmd /c "xcopy /e /y /q %SOFTWARE%\kompozer\0710 "%PROGRAMFILES%\KompoZer""'
- 10/8/8 - filezilla - revision 8 - 3.1.0.1 → 3.1.1
- 6/8/8 - notepad++ - revision 11 - 5.02 → 5.03
- 6/8/8 - winscp - revision 5 - 4.15 → 4.16
- 30/7/8 - thunderbird-spellcheck-dictionary-en-gb - Thunderbird UK spellcheck dictionary has been being installed but not working because Thunderbird wasn't noticing it. We installed MySpell dictionaries in %PROGRAMFILES%\Mozilla Thunderbird\components\myspell\ which was correct for Thunderbird 1.5 but Thunderbird 2.0 expects them in %PROGRAMFILES%\Mozilla Thunderbird\dictionaries. This was broken in RCS 3.1 and RCS 3.2.
- 30/7/8 - filezilla - revision 7 - 3.0.11.1 → 3.1.0.1
- 30/7/8 - thunderbird - revision 10 - 2.0.0.14 → 2.0.0.16
- 30/7/8 - klite - revision3: renamed all 'klite' to 'k-lite'; renamed package from 'klite' to 'k-lite-codec-pack' - also profiles.xml 0.9.1; upgraded 4.0 to 4.1
- 30/7/8 - aspell and aspell-dictionaries-english removed
- 30/7/8 - aspell-dictionaries-english removed
- 30/7/8 - aspell removed from profiles.xml. aspell-dictionaries-english wasn't there!
- eraser - revision 6 - changed string from F850707C-B6A0-4B56-8709-F89CF8F9AC6D to A25FEDC1-F6D7-440C-BCE2-B71F595F6646
- Ghostscript uninstaller fails because packages.xml refers to gs8.54 rather than gs8.61
- Picasa uninstaller fails because program files directory uses 'picasa' rather than 'picasa2'
- flash player - revision 4 - changed WPKG 'check' - "On Windows, this file is named NPSWF32.dll. For player versions 9.0.45.0 and later, this file is stored in the system directory, along with the ActiveX control. For example: C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash\NPSWF32.dll For player versions earlier than 9.0.45.0, the player plugin is stored in the plugins subdirectory of the browser installation directory. For example: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\plugins\NPSWF32.dll". Thus we're re-installing Flash Player on each bootup in RCS 3.2.
- Flash Player uninstaller - remove - not working - changed '%SOFTWARE%\flash-player-uninstaller\uninstall_flash_player.exe /silent' to '%WINDIR%System32\Macromed\Flash\uninstall_plugin.exe /silent'
- scribus - revision 6 - removal - removed GDI+
- f-prot - removed 'reboot=true' so it wouldn't cause a continual reboot
- f-prot - revision 7 - added error allowed 1619 - error in web boot strapper - Microsft Internet Explorer
- 21/7/8 - myodbc - revision 3 - updated 3.51.12 → 3.51.26
- 21/7/8 - f-prot - revision 5 - changed reboot=true to reboot=false. F-Prot's priority=0 forced F-Prot to be processed last on installation, then the system was rebooted. Upon removal F-Prot doesn't seem to be being processed last so WPKG is prematurely restarting the workstation. This would be fine if it waited for F-Prot to be removed before restarting but the F-Prot UI is still on screen when the workstation is restarted.
- 17/7/8 - updated Firefox 2.0.0.14 → 3.0.1
- 17/7/8 - updated scribus 1.3.3.11 → 1.3.3.12
