| WWW Info/Download: | you don't need to do this any longer, but in case at some point in the future you need to again...:to download the Shockwave 'full' installer, go to the 'web' installer page i.e. http://sdc.shockwave.com/shockwave/download/frameset.fhtml?
and check where the link points to to download that file. then, point
your browser to that URL for the file download, but instead of using the
filename given for the 'web' installer, replace it with that of the 'full installer (which is usually flashplayer6installer.exe or Shockwave_Installer_Full.exe) beta test versions: http://www.macromedia.com/software/flashplayer/special/beta/ |

| Notes: |
if you don't have Netscape/Opera installed, Shockwave and/or Flash will install
(i.e. copy the DLL, in the case of Flash) to a directory, such as '\programs\shockwave',
and you can 'install' the player by copying the file(s) to your browser's
plugins directory 'at your leisure' |
